Clouds

Clouds Posted by Hello

First Job - At age 16 at Hobby Hut in Langley. Had a profound influence on how I viewed retail and crafts.
First Funeral - There must have been some when I was younger, but the first one that I remember was in the mid '90's... our teenaged neighbour boy (who babysat for us, committed suicide. His funeral was the hardest one to attend.
First Piercing - My ears, when I was 12, in Seattle with my mom, my sister and my best friend on a girl's shopping weekend. I lost interest in keeping my ears jewelled, so I had them re-pierced when I turned 20. Those holes lasted a few years. I think I had them done again when I was 30. But let them close up too.
First Tattoo - not gonna happen. I so hate needles. And I'm not so crazy about my body either - why would I decorate that when I could decorate my house?
First Credit Card - When I was 18, I got a job in the mall at a young women's clothing store, "Sweet 16". I applied for one of their credit cards and got it. Then I bought one article of clothing there every month and paid it off the next day.
First Enemy - I had an annonymous enemy back in high school. They (I'm assuming it was a she) would leave hate notes in our mailbox. Never figured out who or why.
First Album Purchase - Queen - It was either A Day at the Races or a Night at the Opera. Or maybe it was Rod Stewart - the one with Tonight's the Night on it.
First Concert - Fleetwood Mac at the Pacific Collesium on the Labour Day weekend, 1977 First Airplane Ride - To Hawaii when I was 12.
First Kiss - Mark - December 9, 1976 at the Chrismas Dance.

Lasts:
Last Car ride - tonight as a passenger while Clint chauffeured Max and I from Walmart
Last Funeral - My mom's Aunt Suzie - January 4(?) 2004
Last CD Purchase - Newsboys
Last Concert - Creationfest 04
Last Airplane Ride - to Winnipeg to see Vern, a friend from Bible School days
Last Book Read - The Pilot's Wife by A. Shrieve
Last Purchase - At Walmart, for Max - socks, boxers, luggage tags, power converter thingy and a travel clock. This Europe trip is costing a fortune.
Last Kiss - Mark - probably sometime in 1997
I refuse to have that as the last category. I'll make up a few more, just so that my pathetic (lack of a) love life isn't the last thing on your mind.

Last Hug - a few hours ago, from Drew, before he went to bed.
Last Moment of Contentment - At 10 pm when the kids and I prayed together in my room. Last Paper Printed - a letter from the school requesting I have a criminal check completed before we head to Europe.
Last Prayer - uttered a few moments ago, "God please give Christine wisdom as she prepares her book for publishing. I pray Your will be done as her story works it's way through the editing process."
Last Stupid Thing - In an effort to accererate the healing of facial acne, I bought a 100 minute tanning package yesterday and agreed to a 20 minute initial zap. My face is fine. Every other inch of skin is burnt bright pink. I am in some kinda pain. Sore knee caps are nothing compared to the swollen throbbing tender skin on my stomach, thighs, back...

What were your firsts and lasts? Blog em...Or e-mail them. Either or...
Thanks to all of you who e-mailed your responses to ABC....Love getting mail.

Take care,
