Blogger Outage at 9 pm PST! Closed for scheduled maintenance.

Figures.
For the first time in 17 days I have the house and computer to myself.

Gotta do this quickly then. Like everything else in my life.
Oh for the days when one can be slow, intentional and thorough...

Some photos from Max's camera:

This one was taken during the summer. This green thing is REAL. Found it on the floor outside my bedroom door at the cabin...
Artistically, it photographed better on a bright pink flower. So we moved it. Carefully. Using a long stick. Because no one wanted to touch it.

Ugly. Yet amazing.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled November photos...
Taken 48 hours ago on the chair lift at Blackcomb:

Blizzardly cold.

The snowfall was harsher on the mountain.

It was soft and gentle in the village where I spent most of my time.

We told Clint he should be wearing the reverse of this outfit: white pants and a camo jacket. It would have been a "Where's Waldo" type of picture. The only way to spot him would be by his goggles.

Three things I'm thankful for:

1. Kids who are like me even if they don't want to acknowledge it.

2. Parents who have a spare vehicle to lend me so that I can go to work and can lend mine to my son so he can go to work. It's a game called Pay it Forward.

3. Walmart and London Drugs are both open til 10:00. Love shopping late. Let me re-word that. I don't love shopping. But if I have to buy something (in this case, pick up my photo order and buy underwear) I love being able to do that when no one else is blocking my pathway in and out of the store.

Thought for the day:

"Love comforteth like sunshine after rain."

Nice clarification on the shopping thing. Me too, hate shopping but love it if I can get in and out in record time. and able to buy female stuff same time as I buy kitty litter. Must tell you about Kitty Paradise -- I found it, it's really there. :) In Hawaii that is.
