Just what I needed...
2 hours with Brian Doerksen LIVE in Lynden.
It Is Well With My Soul.
It is SO well....
Hearing him sing it with his dad, right there in front of me, was, uh, good for my soul. So good.
Now I'm off with a truck full of teens to the lake.
The rain I've been praying against might just happen after all...
So I've told all the adults that I've invited to the BBQ not to worry about attending,
But the kids...well, they're playing paintball regardless of the weather. And don't mind attending a BBQ in the rain either.
So it'll be me, my parents, and maybe a dozen or two teenaged boys celebrating Clint's 19th birthday in the rain at Cultus.
Life is good.
SO good.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Friends who invite me to concerts.
2. My kids' friends who like to play in the rain.
3. My parents who are right there beside me cleaning up my messes.
