Is it just me or is everyone having troubles uploading photos onto blogger?

The photocopier and postage machine weren't very cooperative today either.
And the dishwasher was not even a smidge happier with the new seal... another puddle is being sopped up by an extra absorbant beach towel as I type.
In additon to the mattress and couch cushions forming a lean-to in the family room, I have another mattress on the interior stairwell forming a giant slide into the front hall.
The son who has finished his last shift at the concrete plant lovingly placed all his encrusted work clothes on the floor in the games room.
Every cup we own is waiting to be washed by hand. As are last night's spaghetti and meat sauce plates, pots and pans.

I got home at 6:00pm just as the kids were leaving to go to their dad's for the night.

It's just me and this mess.
A perfect birthday.


Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Hay bales.
2.Old Elvis songs.
3. My room is still clean. Tempted to zip up there right now and call it a night.
