We fight in this house.
"About what?" you ask.
Homework.
"YOU JUST DON'T GET IT!" is the phrase I hear, exclaimed towards me, loudly, in repsonse to my suggestion that some attention be given to their assigned work. "IT DOESN'T MATTER. YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND."
And chores.
"I DIDN'T MAKE THAT MESS."
"I DO EVERYTHING AROUND HERE, MY BROTHERS DO NOTHING."
Every. Single. Day.
It's hard living with people who argue with everything you say.
It's tiring living with people who are irresponsible.
It's discouraging to have to repeat yourself over and over and over ...
It's depressing to know that these are my children, and despite good genes and good intentions, this will be my fault when in 15 years they go for counselling.
There may not be enough seasons of West Wing for me to escape to.

OR, when they grow out of those effing teens, they will rise up and call you blessed.
Smile, decide whats worth fighting about. Arguments are there, it's part of teens stretching their wings.Patience is not easy for our stage of life...but this to will pass... even when you think you can't take it another minute...You have a perfectly normal household. Trust me, I care. Love, Marg
