Ow. My head.

Twenty hours later, I'm done.
Very disappointed in the Josh and Donna storyline. Even though their relationship has slowly been building tension for the first six seasons, COME ON. What was that? Their first kiss was 'accidental' and from then on it was Donna making the moves. What's that all about? Josh, be a man. A man like Jim at The Office. Be bold. Take a chance. Understand the risk, but then act on it.

Hmmmphhf.

Thought maybe I'd start the new year off by making it Day 1 of 100 Days Without Chocolate. My head is going to explode.
Oh my goodness.
The headache. The pounding. The pain behind my eyes.
I've ripped the house apart looking for Advil. Where did it go?

Things I've learned:
1. Don't combine 20 non-stop hours of TV watching with cold-turkey chocolate withdrawl.
2. But if you must do the above, do not add crying to the mix. (Leo dying, Danny and CJ, etc)
3. If you choose to do both of the above, do not take a phone call from a son who has been away for a few days. It will likely not be one of your better conversations.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. It is done. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 were excellent. The other 4? Not so much. But I have closure and can move on.
2. With the exception of a cup of chicken broth, I managed to fast all day. It helped that there weren't any stores open. I ate far too much this holiday season. Feels good to have an empty stomach.
3. He forgives us when we're sorry.

Shalom,
