Hope your day was special and that you didn't have nursery duty at church or have to feed 100 people this afternoon...
My day was wild.
Drove through 2 snow storms to get to the Newsboys concert in Everett. Have I mentioned before how much I love them? They opened with Shine and ended with the Breakfast Song. Then came back for an encore set that included dueling, spinning drum sets.
Truly I say unto you, life does not get better than this. Holy cow.
A funny thing happened at the concert this evening... during the break between Kutless and Newsboys, a very friendly gal tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I was Jane. She (Donna) reads my blog and knew that I was going to be there. She recognized Drew from all the photos I post of him, and worked her way down our row of seats until she came to me. Ha ha. Feeling like a celebrity...
Anyway, we're home.
Feels good.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Awesome, awesome holiday.
2. New clothes to wear to work.
3. Random, clean spots in the house that Clint tidied. (Desk drawers, DVD cupboard...)
