Patiently waiting while Jul worked her way around his head.

Almost done.

Daryl rolled into the kitchen to show me his casts.
Such a kidder, that Daryl...
The thing about getting our hair cut at my sister's place after school is that she always has supper simmering while she's snipping.

.
And I don't.
.
.
So, when I got home at 5:30 pm (having eaten nothing all day but an orange-juice-and-vanilla-protein-powder-shake and 3 tablespoons of peanut butter) and faced an empty stove, I was sorely tempted to zip us all down to McDonald's for burgers and ice cream. I didn't. I made a meal, a mess and managed to make it through another day having no flour or sugar. (However, I did eat an entire watermelon with limited help from Andrew, so maybe I blew it?)
.
Leaving the dishes where they landed, we all rushed out again after eating; Clint and Drew to Flip City, Max and I to find out his Career Assessment results.
.
Can I tell you how awesome this whole testing experience was? And how clear the results are?
And how much I love the results?
Careers which utilize Max's top three inherent traits and cognitive skills include (get this!); photography, journalism, marketing and being a pastor.
.
This list just makes my heart smile. And my mouth too.

.
Three things I'm thankful for:
2. A sister who is good with scissors.
3. The paperwork (for Mexico) is done.
Shalom,
