of sitting on my butt in front of this computer.
I did manage to turn my head every so often between 8 and 9 pm to watch those crazy kids dance up a storm.
I heart Neil.
I've watched a total of 3.5 hours of this show this season. It's tragic.
I'm considering buying a ticket and watching them perform live in Everett in November.
Culture.
I'm thirsty for culture.
I guess it's the 9th now.
My baby turns 13 today. He'll officially be a teenager.
I called Clint who was at camp for the evening, helping Skittles with the DVD. Yes, he saw Drew. Yes, he gave him his back pack. He looks fine.
And that was the extent of our 36 second conversation.
Details.
I crave details.
This is all so very unsatisfying.
My writing group and I are going to spend 21 hours together this weekend. You can bet your bottom dollar that our talks will last more than 36 seconds. I can hardly wait.
So, you might be asking yourself, "Why, with a butt that size, would she sit on it all night?"
And I will answer that I was doing important things.
Mexico things.
E-mail things.
Re-doing ALL that work that I lost last week.
(And yeah, maybe some Facebook things too.)
But it's saved. And in a happy place. So that's good.
Tomorrow I'm going to do something else.
Maybe clean out Drew's room? Weed the garden? Fertilize the bedding plants?
See?
This is why I blog.
To record the excitement that is my life.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Blogs that make me laugh. See Exams Can Kill.
2. Peaches.
3. Loose clothing.
Shalom,
