The Executive Leadership Seminar? That took place today at the Langley Hall Theatre?

Was mine.

I was the planner.

130 registered attendees came from all corners of North America.

Registration was at 8 am

The seminar started at 8:30 am

I took a load of "stuff" there last night.

And spent the rest of the evening loading up my truck with more stuff. (Handouts, portfolios, bottled water for everyone, easel, flip chart, laptop, camera, pens, pencils, signs, books for sale, name tags, notebooks ...)

I went to bed at 1:45 am and set my alarm for 6. I needed to shower and spend some time on myself before taking Max to school at 7. I needed to be at the Hall by 7:20, so that I could empty my truck and meet my team of volunteers at 7:30. That would give us half an hour to set up the resgistration tables, the sales table, and get the tech stuff looked after in the theatre. I hoped to be relaxed and calm when attendees started to arrive around 8 am.

I woke up this morning and looked at my clock radio. It was 7:27.
