We sat here for a few hours.

And at 8:30, after a surgery with no complications, he was wheeled back up to his room in the kiddies wing.

First thing he asked me?

"Did dad call?"

"Is he coming?"

I've sat next to that kid for 18 hours. And he's talking about his dad. :)

I suggested he give him a call. (Here he is talking to him...)
I finally left the hospital at 10:30 pm - 22.5 hours after I arrived.
He was snoring contendedly when I left, stoned to his eyeballs on morphine.
.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. All the friends and family who've been praying. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Is there a needier family out there? Holy cow, if it's not one thing, it's another.
2. My sister who helped me get through the last few hours of this medical adventure.
3.Wikepdia. It saved Max's life.
.
Shalom
