Got myself a head cold yesterday, and it's a doozy. Would love to just sleep for the next 24 hours.
Clint is being a 21 year old boy - for the past two nights he leaves at 11 pm to find a club or pub so he can experience "the culture". He gets back to the hotel at 3 am where I've been desperately praying for 4 hours that no bad guys steal my cute boy.
Drew is ready to go home. Another day of walking (today through the park and surrounding areas) does not excite him in the least. Clint and I are hoping he'll like the photo exhibit that's showing in an old theatre in the heart of a disgusting part of town. We're going to hit that up sometime today.
The weather is still awesome. Our meals have been delicious (yesterday we had the best poutine EVER), and other than me not getting enough computer time, we're getting along fine.
Really wishing Max was with us.
Will try to post some pics of Quebec.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. I have Cold FX and Advil Cold & Sinus along.
2. It's sunny and warm and Sunday and we're going to a park, so I'm wearing shorts and runners today and WILL be comfortable.
3. I'm reading a great book which helps occupy my mind during those hours that Clint is away from us.
4. God answers prayers. Even ones uttered inbetween chapters of a good book.
5. Drew wants to come back to Montreal. He wants to do the same stuff we did, but with friends next time, because it would be "a thousand times funner". I'll take that as an endorsement that this trip I planned to a city he did not want to come to, didn't turn out as sucky as he predicted.
6. Clint talks about "next time he comes" too. So glad I was here with them for their first times in this city.
Shalom,
