Winning isn't as important as having fun

And Val 'n I had fun.

Because, really? Talking IS fun.

And we had lots of time to talk.

We met at 5 at the Freeway. And I dropped her off at 11 at the Freeway.

And a Canuck's game is only 60 minutes of hockey. So that leaves, well, hours and hours to discuss well, everything. From Paris to cheese pans to weddings to chocolate cake.

It was all good.

Or, as she now says, "Alles Gut".

Three things I'm thankful for:

1. My mom's house is on the way to Vancouver. We "dropped in" to say hi and got a turkey dinner.

2. I'm thankful that there's another person on this earth that thinks like I do. Thank you God, for Val.
