So 7 of us went.
We saw:
I would have TOTALLY loved this alot more if we didn't have a young teenager with us. So everytime the language or action got too profane or suggestive or blatant, I cringed. I cringed alot.
That aside; it was a pretty shallow show. With a dozen pretty people to look at. Some happy endings. And some sad ones. (There were 9 intertwining storylines - hey not everyone can have a "happily ever after.")
.
Underneath it all, at the heart of the storylines, were some nuggets of truth. And sometimes that truth hurts, especially when you accept that sometimes? Sometimes, he's just not that into you. And really? You should just let it go. Accept the pain, but let him go.
.
You can't make someone love you.
.
You can't make someone love you.
.
And God can't make that person love you either.
.
Love is a decision that a person makes. It's a head thing, not a heart thing. (It really helps if the heart is involved, but sometimes the heart is busy or preoccupied, so one must rely on their head.)
.
Anyways, I did cry at the sappy happy part. And felt a stab of pain in my chest when the sad part happened. And I didn't much care about all the other parts inbetween.
.
.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. YAY! Got an email from Drew:
taken 30 pics
not uploading them
suntanned for 3 hours..so no tan yet
bungalow is decent
max is extremely bored,
haven't been to the ocean, its a 5 min shuttle ride
i saw an alligator today
2. The best part about going out with friends to movies, is sitting in their driveways afterwards, talking for a few hours.
3. Clint and I got home at roughly the same time. He's clicking away on his keyboard doing homework. I love that sound.
