Jane has a frozen mouth.

(Until Easter I'll still be annoying you with Facebook status-like updates.)

And, don't call between 9 and 11 tonight. ER's final episode ever is on and I will be watching. Box of kleenex is already on the coffee table.

Just in case I don't get back on the computer tonight, I'll do my 3 things now.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Freezing. Can you imagine having work done on your teeth without it? Shudder.
2. My dentist. He's awesome. He put the cap on my tooth (second to back, top right) and then pulled my lips up and open to check the color match. (Honestly. when was the last time you saw me smile all the way to my back teeth?) My lips were stretched ten ways from Sunday and I don't know why but all that gum groping made me feel like a horse. (Have I ever seen anyone check a horse's mouth or teeth? No. So this image in my head makes no sense. Unless you factor in peri-menopausal brain farts and then it all comes clear.) Anyways, (or H'anyways, as Rachel writes it, which seems so much cooler than my way), anyways, he determined that the match could be better. He thought it might be off by one shade. I thought it was fine. But then, when was the last time I looked into my mouth that way? When has anyone? I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the only person on the planet that will ever be that intimately connected to my back molars will be my dentist. And if he wants to look into a mouth with color-matched teeth, then I'll suffer through another appointment to get another fitting. Can you tell no one is home? Can you tell I worked hard all day and didn't stop for lunch or any breaks to visit with anyone? Can you tell I need to talk? You should be sitting here beside me. I've never typed so fast in my life. I'm a chatterbox with my fingertips. How am I ever going to come up with a third thing to be thankful for. I was stretching it with this one.

3. Maybe if I start typing something will come to me.

The security on my Visa card was breached again today so I have to destroy this card who's number I have just memorized and wait for a new one. I'm not thankful about this or anything, it just crossed my mind.

Does anyone from Charlotte, North Carolina read my blog? Can you recommend a good place to hold a dessert evening for 20 - 30 people? I'm to plan a little get-together for June 10. Ideas, anyone?

Do you feel guilty watching Two and A Half Men, too?

Know what next Thursday is? The very best Thursday of the whole entire year because the next day is Good Friday which is my favorite church service to attend. Way better than Christmas Eve. Hunnerd times better than Thanksgiving.
So if you live in Langley and have nothing better to do on April 10 - come to CLA. I hear they have theatre seats now.

3. The third thing I'm thankful for today is - my mom for handsigning, like 80 Easter cards for me. (Handsigning means writing out a few sentences in her great script in each card. So if you donated to Arrow this calendar year, you'll be getting an Easter greeting from Arrow, and my mom. I'm also thankful for my sister because she gave me a great hair cut. Bangs are perfect length. Bang length is so important.

Shalom,

I'm not only thankful for the freezing, but also the freezing gel they rub on your gum so you can't even feel the needle containing all the freezing!
