Because it totally feels like Friday to me.
Maybe it's because I went out for dinner tonight. And we sat around and talked afterwards. For FOUR hours.
It was me and a married couple.
Do you know how very rare that is? I avoid invitations like this (and I think my friends' husbands do too) on a regular basis.
But my mom and Dayle's mom are, like BFF's... so somehow I'm OK having dinner with him and Kelley. Three of us. With them being a couple. And me being a single. And it didn't matter. All three of us engaged in the same conversation.
Don't try to figure me out. Your brain's processor is not large enough to handle the intracies of my psych.
Thanks D & K for such a great evening. Some parts of it definitely had God's fingerprints all over it. And other parts were just plain fun. (Not that God moments can't be fun. Because sometimes they totally are.)
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Friends who knew me in my old life.
2. Friends with stories that inspire me to take it up a notch.
3. Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
Shalom,
