I loved this book and could not put it down.
Three storylines spanning 100 years ... involving 4 strong female characters that nestle into your heart within the first 50 pages. And the mystery; why was 4 year old Nell placed on a British ship bound for Australia ALL BY HERSELF in 1913? Why?
It's $9.99 at Costco.
Buy it.
And read it in one sitting if you can.
I am so going to look for other books she's written.
Know what else I love?
Craft nights.
Tonight? We cut and pasted black and blue paper:
Clint saw this pic and his comment was, "blonde sweatshop".
This is the bride, and we were assembling her invitations. She was relaxed and calm and not at all worried about the final product after she recut each and every piece of paper on the table.
:)
So far, 22 man-hours (woman hours) have been invested in the project, and we're about half done.
Her attention to detail is mind-boggling. You are SO going to want her to be your dentist. (Which is what she'll be in about 4 years.)
Due to a slight oversight, we ran out of black paper.
This was mentioned about 47 zillions times throughout the evening.
Hard workers. All of them.
Gorgeous too.
The Alleeeze, Stace and Bai.
So.
Who wants to help next week?
:)
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Fun movies.
Date night will have you giggling...
2. Surprise visits from sons.
Clint and I had a quick Subway dinner tonight before he ran off to do some video work and I went to play with paper and glue.
3. Meeting deadlines at work. Yay.
Shalom,
