Today was one of those days... the kind where I spend hours and hours and hours in front of the computer.
Today was about research and communication.
And then, kind of unexpectedly, because I mostly had forgotten, Heather asked if I could take some pics of Kyle at his prom. She said he'd be arriving via limo ...
So at 6 pm, in my jeans and flip flops, I was the woman at the doors outside the ballroom taking pics of every limo that pulled up. And pics of every boy that stepped out of those limos (because I hadn't seen Kyle in years, I wasn't sure I'd recognize him.)
So I took a few pix of Kyle and his date, Robin:
and some of him and his parents:
and then a few of him and his friends:
and then I noticed Katie drive up... she's my friend, Terry's daughter:
Her boyfriend, Braden was driving:
She looked lovely:
After they all went in to eat and whatnot, I left to pick up Drew from his friend Brett's house.
His mom was waiting for me in the driveway with her cute new hairdo:
and asked me if I'd like to come in for dinner. Like all spontaneous like.
How lucky am I?
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Happy people who let me take their pics.
2. Friends who make me dinner.
3. A houseful of boys having a sleepover before their last day of school.
Shalom,
