Gleefully

Tuesdays are my happy days. Both boys are home (usually) for dinner and my fav group of twenty-something-year-old teenagers is on TV singing and dancing and making merry.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Lunch today with a friend who asked me, "On a scale of 1 - 10, how much do you still hurt from your marriage breaking up?' After 12 years, I'm thankful to say, it only hurts about a 2 on some days and a 1 on others.

2. With most of the team still on the island this week, it's quiet and casual at the office. Lovely.

3. Celine Dion (42) is pregnant with twins! Shania has a new love! Kate Middleton will be engaged to the Prince soon! Kelly Preston (47) is pregnant with John Travolta's (56) baby! The Gores, who had a good marriage for 40 years, will have a good separation because they are friends!
I love catching up on People Magazine news.

4. Glee's season finale tonight. Do you want my thoughts?

Follow this link to tonight's episode of Glee.

I really smiling at the 11:25 mark. Seriously. I was smiling before this point, but REALLY smiling here.
And then I teared up with happy emotion at the 13:13 mark.
At the 14:00 minute mark I started hoping that this episode would last all night.
And at 16:05 I started dancing.

And then, I loved watching Puck on guitar accompany Mr. Shu on the ukulele at the 41:30 mark.

If you got time, how about checking out this episode when Mr. Shu and Doogie Howser dig deep to tap their inner rock star and sing Dream On at the 20:30 mark. And while you're at it, stick around and watch Artie, the wheelchair guy, lead a flash mob at the mall at the 24:24 mark. Too much fun, no?

Shalom,

Thanks for posting the final episode...I missed it so sat down with my coffee in the morning and watched (should have been doing other more productive work) and it was a real guilty pleasure!

True story: I love Shu and want to marry him almost as much as I want to marry Jim.
That is an interesting question your friend asked. I've gone from a 14 (on a scale of 1 to 10) to probably a 7. Do you agree? And after FOUR DAMN YEARS. Sheesh.
You know why I think you are at a 1 or a 2? Because you have a life that is rich in relationships and women need that. Because you fill your time doing things that make you feel good: photography, visiting with friends, good books, blogging, ahem, reading my blog...

I'm glad you are at a 1 or a 2. You inspire me to look ahead with hope that it's only going to get better and that a woman can be sans husband and still have a rich, contented life.
Bless you Jane.
