28 hours

In twenty eight hours I'll be on my way to the airport.
In the meantime, I am baking. For a birthday we're celebrating at work later today
And for book club which is meeting at my house in the evening.

Plus I am doing laundry.
And paying bills.
And trying to tidy the house.

And blogging.
And emailing.

And when I get upstairs to bed, hopefully by 2, I will try to finish the book that I'll be leading the discussion on.

WHY is it always like this before I go away?

Three things I'm thankful for:
1.The receipting seminar I attended today. Very informative. And relevant. So glad Denise was there, beside me, taking notes too.

2. Old fashioned family dinner tonight. At the Spaghetti Factory with dad, mom, Max, Mandi, Drew, Danica. Last meal together before we all go our separate ways. Hope none of us die in the next week.

3. My sister. For the haircut. At least I won't have to worry about my bangs on this trip.

Shalom, friends.
