Another Game

If you are a Canuck's fan this past week has been filled with dark days.
Today was the worst.

But I still believe. And boyhowdy will there ever be a party in Vancouver this Tuesday.

Finished another novel. Finally.
I'll be lucky if get twelve books read this year.

It was a good story that kept me captivated. No doubt about it.
But I wasn't a fan of some of her writing techniques.
I'd say the story was worth a 8/10.
Me being overly critical about style brings it down to 7/10.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Long conversations with my mom. Sometimes simply talking about the thing brings clarity, no?
2. Friends who are happy to spend Saturday nights walking around new subdivisions looking for a home for me. And who remind me that 'this house won't do. You need a spot in your yard to tan and read. This house doesn't have that.'
3. Sons.
