I had another showing, so I spend the morning preparing for that.
Then I had that job interview at 2, so I spent considerable time working on my face and hair and not enough time thinking about clothes.
And then, wrung out, from being interviewed, I picked up groceries and made (MADE) dinner, because all three boys were going to be in my house for 30 minutes at 6:30 pm. This is a huge occasion, requiring a three course meal. Which was mostly a waste, because no one touched the first course, because it was green. Seriously. I throw out more soggy salads than you could shake a stick at.
I slept very little last night and woke up with a stomach-ache (see 'being interviewed' above) and baggy eyes.
I fear this was not my best effort at celebrating the first day of August. Thank goodness there's always tomorrow.
1. Max is staying for night. LOVE that there's another body in the house.
2. Full moons.
3. Clint, Max, and Drew.
4. Summer evenings.
5. My cell phone.
Shalom,
