Gone.

That pile of crap that was growing in the garage is gone.

Yup it was a big pile.

So very, very glad it's gone.

And a few days ago, Mark, Drew and Max loaded up a trailer full of car parts and removed them from the garage. Plus Drew probably has one more truck load of tools and miscellaneous car accessories to deal with.

At lunch today I took a truck FULL of stuff to the Salvation Army Thrift Store. My second trip there this past week.  You'd think there'd be nothing left for me to pack, wouldn't you? You'd be wrong. 100 boxes so far. But the end IS in sight.

Tomorrow Drew and I are each taking our trucks up to the lake after work, and leaving my gardening supplies, picnic table and baker's rack up there. No, it's not junk. Mostly not junk.

Sigh.

This all needs to end soon.
I have books I want to read.
A video series I'm only half-way through to watch.
AND IT'S SUMMER. Somewhere there is a gelato guy waiting for me to get my scoop of mango.

Three things I'm thankful for:

1. Slow week at work. Erhm. I may have planned it that way, seeing I have the power to assign deadlines.
2. Bacon and eggs on a toasted bagel is a perfectly fine dinner.
3. Books that make you think.

Shalom,
