Rest In Peace, Brenda xo

And *just like that, she's with Jesus:

(From Carson's blog) - .

Just after midnight this morning, surrounded by love from her entire family, Brenda answered the call and slipped into heaven.
Our loving warrior teacher has gone ahead of us and we look forward to joining her in glory one day.

She was my Max's best friend's mom.
She was my carpool partner after we moved to Murrayville.
She was my colleague when I worked at Arrow.
She was my role model and quasi-mentor when I needed a mom-of-3-boys (who had also gone through some challenges) to share her experiences, give hope, extend encouragement and then, most importantly, laugh in retrospect.
She was my professional reference (and biggest cheerleader) when I applied for my current job, believing that I totally could do this.
And she was my friend.

I'm sitting at my desk at work, crying a little bit, and kinda stunned that she is gone.
Thank you, Brenda, for showing us (and me, specifically) how to live with joy and purpose.
Grateful for your friendship. Glad you're with Jesus. (If you see my dad, say 'hi'.)

I'm typing this with tears in my eyes, and am so sorry for the loss of your friend. I know we should rejoice when a loved one goes to meet the Lord, but it really hurts having that hole in our life. Hugs my friend.
