Three Things

Three things I'm thankful for:

1. Tonight's service at Northview. If you're struggling with difficulties, depression, or disappointment with God, this weekend's message is something I'd recommend listening to (online) (on Tuesday) (or whenever they post it). We're in the middle of a series; 7 Psalms. Listen when you can. So much wisdom and hope.

2. Thanks to Sherry, I can check off another item on the "101 Things To Do In The Next 1,001 Days" list. Super grateful for the tickets to the ArtsClub Theatre tonight; 4,000 miles was enjoyable, entertaining and a little bit educational. (4,000 miles is based on a book by Amy Herzog, which is probably a great read:
"After suffering a major loss while he was on a cross-country bike trip, 21 year-old Leo seeks solace from his feisty 91 year-old grandmother Vera in her West Village apartment. Over the course of a single month, these unlikely roommates infuriate, bewilder, and ultimately reach each other. 4000 Miles looks at how two outsiders find their way in today's world."

3. I'm thankful for weekends. And beds. And no agendas. And no alarm clocks. And yams. And memories. (By the way, I'm remembering my Grand Tour of Europe, back in March of 2005, by posting my fav pics to my instagram account. Loading a different city every day. Tonight? I'm doing Paris.)

Shalom,
xo
