I gave birth to this blog on Canada Day weekend, 2004.
It was a totally painless process. And an absolute joy to raise.
My first blog entry: (awwww, so tiny... just a newborn ...)

Hi
How exciting is this? A tiny piece of the world wide web belongs to me. Thrilled I am.
Thanks for coming to visit.
I'm off to the lake to celebrate Canada Day.
Take care.
Three things that make me smile:
1. Multi-coloured crinkly-paper patio lanterns
2. Sharp pencils
3. Grapevines

Haha.
Oh baby, we've come a long way.
Three things I'm thankful for all these years later:
1. Still celebrating Canada Day at the lake. With a book in my hand, feet in the lake, bum on a lawn chair.
2. Sunny days, cool breezes, blue lakes, green mountains, and what appears to be a field of Queen Anne's Lace on the verge of blooming.
3. Walks with Val along the Vedder.
Take care, wash your hands, feel your boobs, xo
