Drew got a digital camera for Christmas. Can you guess what this is?
"Hi Mom. Do you and dad want to come over for dinner tonight? I'm going to make a huge pot of soup. Can dad bring his van? I need his help with a few things..."
After supper my dad:
- installed a curtain rod in the kitchen eating area
- attached my new, very cool clock, to the wall in the dining room
- changed the tank on the BBQ
- put up a new motion scensor light in the back patio
- hung a decorative oak mirror in the entrance
- adjusted the curtain rod in my bedroom
- relit the pilot light for the living room fireplace
- tried to figure out why my vacuum hose has no suck
- fixed the belt on my old upright vacuum
- showed Clint how to install the garage door opener
And then he was tired.
I'll have to save my "outside to do list" til next time.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. My dad. Duh.
2. My mom. She listens when I talk a mile-a-minute.
3. My sister. She took away my barenaked Christmas tree today. (Drew and I undressed it last night. We sorted the ornaments into three boxes; 1. favorites 2. glass baubles 3. so ugly we'll never use them again ... give or throw them away.)
Shalom,
