I had a hankering to see Venice again. Less expensive than buying a plane ticket, I invited my mom to join me

see Casanova tonight.
For the scenery.
In Venice.

So I could say to her, "I was there. It looked EXACTLY like that."

"This was a good idea," she said to me as we took our seats. "It'll be nice to see him in a different role. I have those disturbing images of him bouncing around in my mind from that cowboy movie you took me to at Christmas time."

Oh. Yeah. That.
Erhhmmm.
Sorry.

Blogging friends, feel free to cut, paste and post your own 4 on Fri:

FOUR FOR FRIDAY - THE 'YOU'/'YOUR' EDITION
Q1 - You: What one person, out of all the people you know, knows you the best and knows the most about you?
My mom.
Q2 - Alongside You: If you were recovering from major surgery in a hospital and could have any person, from any era, recovering in the bed next to you, who would it be?
Someone with wisdom, humour and bad eyesight.
Q3 - Your Computer: What is your computer's home page set to? How often do you change your homepage setting?
Google. I never change it. Change is bad and something to be avoided at all costs.
Q4 - Your Work: Would you be willing to take a fifty percent (50%) cut in pay to pursue a career or job you were one hundred percent (100%) more passionate about than your current one? If not, what percent cut in pay would you be willing to take?
The 50% cut in pay would mean a change in lifestyle. We would have to give up eating.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. The rain stopped for a few hours today.
2. Kids got to Sun Peaks safely.
3. No reason to get up before I'm ready to tomorrow.

Shalom,
