ROAD TRIP

Looks like I'm going to Palm Springs.

Three moms.
Nine kids (mostly teens, mostly boys).
Two mini vans.
One house with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and private pool.

Tuesdays Top Ten:

Ten Thoughts About This Trip -
1. I get sleepy after driving for 2 hours. Four 12 hour driving-days is gonna kill me.
2. I have nothing to wear.
3. I need to have a pedicure before we go.
4. I'm going to Palm Springs!
5. Will I come back rested or exhausted?
6. Glad I have a good camera.
7. Is there any way to have my stomach surgically removed before March 10?
8. How many books should I pack?
9. I can hardly wait. Could be a perfect vacation.
10. I am going to Palm Springs.
I used to go every year...This will be my first time since 2000. I hope we're staying in a family-friendly part of town. In 1999 I mistakenly booked the kids and I into a condo on the cusp of the gay community. I was the only hetero shopper at the local supermarket.



Three things I'm thankful for:
1. God can still use us even if we're putzes.
2. We are have some amazingly gracious and merciful people in our lives.
3. Friends who respond to emails that say "help".
