I just can't finish it. Life is too short...

I had overly high expectations for this book... I mean look at who wrote it for goodness sake.
But yo ma leehd, I could not get past the half way mark.
Just so that I would have the closure I needed to proceed with my life, I read the last two chapters before putting the book away.

In my humble opinion, the entire project was one big cliche'.
2 out of 10.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Even though no words were spoken (words like "sorry, mom - I have been a butt-head") their actions were encouraging. The dishwasher got unloaded, table was set, laundry was dealt with, hose repairs were undertaken, and assistance was offered regarding outdoor lighting issues. Peace has been restored to my humble abode.
2. Open windows and blowing fans at night. Ahhhhh.
3. Chris's manuscript has been received by an editor and Jenn has an interview gig with the famous Irish author, Marion Keyes.
