It was a hoax.

A couple of years ago at Creation, it had been noted by a concerned bystander, that I was rehydrating those in my care with icy cold water that had been frozen in plastic containers.
"Don't you know that as the plastic thaws it leaks carcinogenics into the water? That's really dangerous."
I have not frozen water in plastic bottles since.

However, this year, acting on the advice of friends who alway freeze their water for Creation, I chose to do the same. I have a dozen folks to keep refreshed during a heat wave. What is worse? Carcinogens? Or Dehydration?

So my freezers are full. I've stocked up on water like a drought of biblical proportions is right around the corner.

But just to be doubly safe, I checked this out.

Peace of mind. It's a beautiful thing.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Day at the lake tomorrow. Bringing nothing but books and photo albums. And a bathing suit. Surprisingly, yes. They do make them this big.

2. Got my Durango ready for the road trip. Only cost $400.

3. I'm not pregnant.
Not that there was any scare that I might be. I'm jus sayin - Andie is 7 days away from her due date AND IT'S PICKIN HOT.

Shalom,

Luckily A.) Andie loves hot, and B.) Andie doesn't have to work (they don't believe in a/c at TWU), and C.) (best of all) Andie has two kiddie pools to choose from, plus three little kiddies who are more than happy to soak her every once in a while.

but yah. I'll be so freaking glad when I can just be hot, and not hot and pregnant and unable to sleep at 430 in the morning!!

I think what I mean to say is, being pregnant in July sucks, but at least I have some coping mechanisms!!
