It's Been A Week

Seven days.
7 x 24 hours of frustration.

I haven't been able to upload a photo taken with my camera since Oct 6.

I can post pics of my great grandparents taken 80 years ago, scanned then imbedded in a powerpoint presentation, transferred onto a CD and then uploaded onto my blog using my laptop.

I can post pics that various teens took with their assorted digital cameras on Friday night, but I can't post the ones Clint took with my camera.

Is it me?
A setting on my camera?
Or this beta version of blogger?
Anyone...?

In other news, today (Oct 14) would have been my 23rd wedding anniversary. The kids watched some gory living dead video on the family room TV, so I baked one of Maxine's apple pies, cut myself a generous slice, added 2 dollops of Breyer's vanilla ice cream and went to bed with Johnny Depp on my laptop.

Wish I would've enjoyed it more.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. long rambling e-mail conversations
2. Maxine's apple pie with ice cream
3. Saturday morning breakfast at Ricky's with my mom, sister, bro-in-law and son.

Shalom,

Update from Friday night's shenanigans:

They came back home because one of the wheels fell off the couch, NOT because of police interference.

When I went to bed their conversation had veered to the left and instead of deciding where to find rope to drag the couches, they were planning on assembling 20 Operation Christmas Child boxes amongst themselves. Eight teenaged boys (from 12 - 20 years of age) have decided to load up 20 boxes full of necessary and cool things for kids in Africa. My heart was dancing as I overheard their plans.

I went to bed at 1:00, but heard cars leaving my driveway at 3:15 am.
"What were you guys doing so late?" I asked Clint this morning.
"Watching Robin Hood. It's a classic."

They fluxuate between being little boys and young men every 10 minutes. It's dizzying trying to keep up.

robin hood IS a classic! growing up, we only had two movies, disney's robin hood and cinderella. we never minded watching them both, over and over, and now i can quote them both from memory.
