No sign of it after scouring the neighbourhood.
And absolutley no idea where I can buy a new one.
It may look this way for a long, long time.

I've added "Stake Trees" to my 14 page, 178 item To Do List.
At 9:00 pm, when the snow was just deep enough, I drove (Hello? 4x4. I can do anything...) Max and Drew over to meet up with friends who have a hill perfect for tobaganning. I picked them up at 11:30 pm.
"Mom, can Adam and Kevin come for night?"
After church today, I served 15 kids a hot Italian lunch while they planned a missions trip to Mexico.
I want to go too.
Just need to convince them that they HAVE to have a photographing blogger along to record the event.

After lunch they bundled up to play outside.

Earlier this morning, I saw from my bedroom window, my neighbours posing at the end of their driveway. Another neighbour was taking their pic.
"Ahhh." I thought to myself. "Their Christmas card photo...Perfect. Hope I get a chance to do that with my boys this afternoon."
So with their friends all playing in the snow, I called my three over to pose.
They were pelted with snowballs.
I may have to do some photoshopping...

Er. Scratch that. He does not want to be called baby names anymore.
Drew.
His name is Drew.
Doesn't he look adorable in the snow.
Apparently it was hard work to move that volume of snow.
Let's shake the ...

..snow off this tree ...

..snow off this tree ...

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. That 12 years ago my mom bought me a pair of snow boots. I still have them and wear them once annually.
2. That I have a ceramic tile floor in my entrance way. Melting snow puddles can be easily cleaned up. Or left to evaporate.
3. The sound that snowflakes make when they drop onto the hood of my rain proof jacket.
Shalom,
