First Drive

Since Max has gotten his L, we have had a rain storm, a wind storm and a snow storm.
So tonight was his first experience in the driver's seat on a road. (When he was 11 he used to drive the Astro Van around the fields on the farm.)

"Turn right," I say as we pull up to the stop sign.
"What side of the road do I get onto, the one on the left or right?"
"Always the right."
"Always?"
"Yes. The left lane is for people going the other way."
"Oh."

I'm going to need drugs if I'm to teach another Oh boy how to drive.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Christmas only comes once a year.
2. Max, the only one home for supper, was happy with Campbell's soup.
3. Sunday afternoon naps.

Shalom,
