My sister? She loves me.

Just lived through another wind storm and subsequent 20 hours without power. Spent the afternoon at the dentist office (40 minute drive from my house) for the third time this month. Had that conversation with the hygienist regarding my 16 year old son's brushing habits. Took a call from my oldest son who said, "Yeah, uh. That thing you wanted me to do? I didn't do it." And then I let the Distance Ed folks know that their program has been the worst educational experience of my life. The tests that I've been waiting for Max to do (at his high school) were sent to Trinity Western University. I need to drive him there (and pick him up) twice a week til the end of the semester.
Each one of my kids had me in tears and I was not coping well, so last night I went over to my sister's place to recharge my laptop so that I could watch a couple episodes of West Wing in the dark at my cold house.

Just now, when I got home, guess what? She left me a plate of baking. Chocolate covered peanut butter balls and eis gipfel.
I feel better.
