It snowed today

So I turned my Christmas lights back on: .. my front yard looks festive.
And I look like I can't read a calendar.

Max, earning brownie points, shovelling the driveway

And because it looks so merry and bright, another pic of my tree.

I was hoping to get a pic of all the other men in the neighbourhood doing their driveways too, but it didn't show up. You'll have to trust me on this.

Drew's job was to clear the accumulated snow off the trampoline.

He used his goalie stick.

Yeah. And one more pic of the lights on the tree.
Quit mocking me. My neighbour said he was glad I turned them on, "they look awfully nice" he said between shovels.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. I did not get stuck in the nightmare that was Langley traffic this afternoon. I signed the guys out of school early, so we were at home, all safe and snuggly as the sky dumped on us.
2. Clint did not get stuck in a snow drift or the freeway median on his way home. This snow? It causes no end of anxiety... I watch it fall and I foresee nothing but vehicular accidents involving those that I love.
3. My driveway is shoveled. Does shovelled have two L's or one? Probably one. Shoveled looks right.
Shalom,

We got up to 71 degrees yesterday. Sorry, it's the only time I get to brag about the weather!
