Max and I left our seats and on our way to the other side, he connected up with some guys from school, so I went and sat amongst the MCC crowd.
It was a good feeling. Being part of a group.
I would have been OK sitting by myself anywhere in that building, but it was so much better being called over to share the service with people I'm starting to get to know better.
Afterwards, we went home and I puttered about, getting my things together because I fully intended to go to the cabin.
But the sun was calling, so I ended up in the backyard with a new book.
I read it.
From start to finish:

I like this author and would recommend him. If you like Janet Evanovich, you'll like Harlen Coben.
Anyway, all day long I kept thinking I'd leave after I finished a chapter, but somehow I never lugged my lard ass out to my truck. Which was probably a good thing in the end because when Clint came home from work, he brought home a treat.

I think you have to be a teenaged boy to fully appreciate the awesomeness of that product.

I started to pray.
Next, they dropped a chunk into boiling water.
And it made them happy.
Of course, they had to drop a piece into a cup of rootbeer.
And then drink it.
How about putting a piece into some bubble-blowing liquid?
Yeah ... that held their attention for about .5 seconds.

How about freeze-drying the tulip? Then - smashing it with a hammer of course.
Filling the bathroom sink with it? (Actually this looked really cool.)
Doing the Harry Potter thing... mixing it up in a bubbling cauldron. With the black hood. That part was important - he changed hoodies for this shot.
While I was reading outside, in the sunshine - he was holed up in the family finishing off the last Harry Potter book. I think it affected his photo shoots this evening.

My seasonal Easter-ish bouncy ball display was taken apart...
