Yee Haw. What a party! It was awesome.

Instead of the anticipated 35 - 45 guests, we had 57 female bodies show up this evening. A tight fit but no one seemed to mind. Holy cow that was fun.

Our teens modeled wedding dresses from the past, and wow. I took 259 pictures. These are my favorites:
The girls all put the wedding dresses on over top of their clothes, then shimmied out of their clothes as only girls can do.

The brides; Shari (on the left) and Sheri (on the right).

That's Brianna. I think she's 15. She's wearing my dress...

Sigh.

This (below) is Carmen. She's modeling her mom's wedding dress. And using the moment to announce her engagement!

Squeel!
She got engaged over the weekend.

This is Brittany.
She's the tiniest girl you ever did see.
That's my mom's dress she has on.

My mom weighed 98 pounds on her wedding day.

The brides and their cakes. Can I say yum? YUM.

Thanks, mom for letting me use your new house for this event. It was a perfect evening, thanks to your generosity.
And thanks for doing all those last minute things so that I could greet, meet and take photos.
Oh, and thanks for surprising me with a clean kitchen when I got home from work.
Love you.

Sue made the cupcakes. Those are REAL flowers.
'K. Gotta go. have a bunch of stuff I gotta find and pack up for Drew to take to school tomorrow.
If all goes well, I should be in bed by 2:00.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. My dad and mom. Great models of selfless giving.
2. FUN evenings.
3. In love, newly engaged people. Their joy is infectious.
Shalom,
