More orange

Max didn't need me to pick him up after school yesterday.

He and his friend, Sam were going to Guildford to buy him a tie to go with his suit that he was going to wear to her grad.

Yes, she's 18 months older, has a job, a car and is graduating this June from high school.

Max was hoping to buy an orange tie.

He was eating Doritoes on Friday just before we went to Jer's wedding and it occured to him that that particular shade of chip was the perfect colour to go with his shirt.

He came home with a white one.

Apparently no one sells ties the color of Kraft Dinner.

He also bought this:
He's 16. That awkward age between ties and toys.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. You should see the garbage pile at the curb in front of my house. It's embarassing but WONDERFUL. My garage is slowing emptying.
2. Those yellow flowers; whoa baby, do they ever smell nice.
3. I have a fun Saturday afternoon planned ... taking photos of grads in their gowns ... and Max in his suit with his sword.

Shalom,

hmnnn...Andrew is in that awkward age between ties and toys too. I'm not sure boys ever get past that stage.
