Sigh

The weekend's over?

Already?

Bummer.

I wish I was married and then everyday would feel like a weekend. I wouldn't have to go to work. I could stay home and play. Like a fairy princess.

LOL.

ANYway ...

We (the O's) ended the day on a positive note. Don't you love it when that happens? It's almost 1 am and we just finished praying. Together. Out loud. In the same room. (In case you're wondering which room - I've photographed it above. Does it look holy to you?)

We prayed for big things and little things. We prayed for our church, our friends, our extended family... we asked for wisdom, patience, and to have peace about those things that we have no control over.

There are some times when being a mom is easy. I felt that way for about 34 minutes today.

Three things I'm thankful for:

1. The sermon I heard this morning. So good. With Drew and Max out at overnighters, and Clint having to work, I thought I'd surprise him and go to the oh so perfectly timed 11 o'clock service at his church. They were playing the video he put together of an interview he had done earlier in the year. He was proud of his work and I was glad that I got to see it. The bonus was the message. It'll be available for download on Tuesday afternoon, in case you wanna hear it too.

2. Fourth weekend in a row that I've been to White Rock! Sandra and I went for a walk along the promenade again ... 1.36 miles both ways = 2.72 miles. And again, for the 3rd time, a drunk guy came on to her. She's a magnet I tell you.

3. I made it through the day without dwelling on the fact that if things had turned out differently, I would have celebrated my 24th wedding anniversary.

Shalom,

By the way, in our house, Drew and I definitely saw the dancer spin clockwise. She never changed direction. Clint thought we were nuts, as "clearly she is spinning counter-clockwise." Max saw her spin counterly at first, but the more he stared, he noted she switched directions.

We are sat in front of the computer at the same time watching together.
Wierd, eh?

And how come 101 people visited my blog today and only 12 people did the poll (and 4 of those were residents of this house?)

24th wedding anniversary for you, 5 for me. Sometimes life is just not very nice. One day though, things will be right for us.
Love you

Of course I watched the dancer. She was spinning SOOOOO clockwise. I made Pep look and he only saw clockwise. Very strange!
