I was planning on taking my mom to see The Jane Austen Book Club tonight.
We saw this instead.
Uh, yeah. The "F" word was probably said about 250 times in the first 15 minutes. And there were a number of blood-filled scenes.
Why don't I read reviews more carefully before I suggest a movie? For example, two Christmases ago I took her to see Brokeback Mountain.
Regardless of how offensive the language was in this movie, the plot sure had ya thinking. I like that in a film.
On a side note, the screenplay was written and the movie was directed by Ben Affleck. Good job, Ben. Well done.
