Some things never change

Ever since I was a teenager my mom and dad have gone to the Spaghetti Factory on Saturday night for dinner.
We were always welcome to join them whenever we wanted.
Typically we'd eat 14 loaves of bread before the salads with 1000 Island dressing were served.

Both Spaghetti Factories (the one in New West and the one in Walnut Grove) stock Baby Duck just for my folks. It's not on the menu. But they always have a bottle on hand for them.

For weeks, dad has been asking for Baby Duck while in the hospital. He smiled all evening as he nursed his one glass.

He loved the ice cream too.

On his way back to the Surrey Memorial All Inclusive Resort for the night.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. A good evening for my dad.
2. A firm surgery date for my mom. (April 8)
3. A relaxing night for me.
Shalom,

It so good to see your Dad up and about...it actually brought tears to my eyes.

Beautiful photos. The one of the loaf of bread made me think of manna from heaven.
