I'm partial to the Berner Mountain Dog myself, but I suppose you mean know anyone with a dog for sale? You could try taking him to the SPCA. They're very good about trying to match dog's personalities to owners and they'll have mature dogs.
If I got a new dog I would get a MinPin. That would be a great pet for your dad and mom. They could take it anywhere they wanted to and not be tied down with a dog at home. They also barely shed and make great lap dogs.
