Christmas is Over

The nativity scenes are packed away and Valentine's decorations are up.
The kids and I decorated the Valentine tree, we baked heart-shaped cookies, we made homemade cards for our friends out of glitter and Elmer's glue while listening to Sixpence None the Richer sing "Kiss Me"...

Not.

Three things I'm thankful for:

1. Awesome, awesome sermon tonight at Northview. Jeff is starting a new series... I Samuel.
I'm so glad I threatened Drew with a Snowboard Grounding if he didn't come. (I know. My parenting skills suck.) He came under duress, but agreed with me afterwards that Jeff is an incredibly gifted preacher.

2. Another sleep-in day tomorrow. And it's supposed to be sunny. And I have no plans. What a great way to end a day, knowing that the next day is ripe with opportunities for fun.

3. I am thankful that God answers prayer. Two were answered today.
