Fascinating

I loved this book.
The author? Malcolm Galdwell?
Sure knows how to do research.
Plus he's an engaging writer. Very easy to read his findings because he tells it in story form.

So I would recommend this book. And then, after you read it, get in touch with me so we can talk about it.
Because I really want to talk about it.
Oh, for those of you keeping score - this is book #91
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I got my teeth cleaned today. Yay me. They're polished and shiny right now. But I have to get some extensive work done on one of my molars which is a bummer. Root canal? Crown? Grrrr.
While I was getting x-rayed, scraped, polished, suctioned and flossed, I watched Oprah through wrap-around sunglasses and head phones. Tears kept leaking out of the outer corners of my eyes as she and her guests talked about menopause.
I guess that's the next big thing for me to look forward to. I'd rather be in denial.
Tonight on the news? Hormone Replacement Therapy. Do I really have to think about these issues? I don't want to.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Other than the big mess of a molar at the back of my mouth.... no cavities.
2. The frost on the trees today. Oh. My. Goodness. It was like every piece of vegetation in the Langley was dipped in crystalized sugar and then dusted with translucent glitter. So very pretty.
3. Sisters who are concerned about missing cabinet doors. And offer to get said door repaired. And come to pick it up first thing in the morning.
Shalom,
I went out yesterday and tried taking some pix of the frost. It is so pretty...everything looks delicate and lacey. My pix did not show the frost very well...did you take any shots? Linda
