OK - cruising is the way to go.
So AWESOME.
Seriously.
We told our servers, Pol and Rah, that we're from Bountiful. Art is travelling with his 4 favorite wives(Dad is his wingman) as well as a few of his many, many children. Pol congratulated Art on his energy and suggested he pick up a case of Red Bull when we stop in Juneau.
Everyone is good moods. Dad is happy. Mom is glad to be in a wheelchair. Mandi hasn't stopped smiling and my kids leave their room for at least a few hours a day. Lena, who recently celebrated her 70th birthday is in awe of everything, Hildegarde keeps her in line, and Art and Anne are fun.
This is a great holiday so far.
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. Dad is a fantastic wheelchair driver.
2. Mandi's enthusiasm rubs off on Drew.
3. The food is excellent.
Sad news - my laptop does not work. So I won't be downloading pics or updating every hour. I've bought an internet package (100 minutes for $55) - (I know!) so posts will be short.
