Pray-Along. Part Seven.

(If you're just joining me now, I'm in the midst of a day-long intentional time of prayer. Please join me. I'm praying for my kids, and all those kids that God has laid on my heart to love.)

From Hillsong's The Stand and Praying the Scriptures for Your Teenagers
Dear God,

You stood before creation
Eternity within Your hand
You spoke the earth into motion
My soul now to stand

You stood before my failure
Carried the Cross for my shame
My sin weighed upon Your shoulders
My soul now to stand

So what can I say
What can I do
But offer this heart O God
Completely to You

So I'll walk upon salvation
Your Spirit alive in me
This life to declare Your promise
My soul now to stand

So what can I say
What can I do
But offer this heart O God
Completely to You

So I'll stand
With arms high and heart abandoned
In awe of the One who gave it all

So I'll stand
My soul Lord to You surrendered
All I am is Yours

Dear God,

Please let my kids remember You in their youth (Ecc. 12:1).

Tune their ears to hear Your voice so that, as Samuel dud when he was a boy, they will invite You to speak to them and they will listen to Your words. (I Sam 3: 9 - 10)

Allow us all to be rooted and established in love. Give us the power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep your love is. Let us know that this love surpasses all understanding that we may be completely filled with your grace. (Eph. 3:18 - 19)

Give those that have fallen away from you, a singleness of heart and put a new spirit within him. Take away his heart of stone and give him a tender heart instead, so that he will obey you. Let him know that he belongs to You. (Eze 11:19)

Bring my children back to the faith that they knew as children. Let our mouths be filled with laughter, and our tongues with songs of joy. Let our friends and neighbours know that You have done great things for our family. (Psalm 126:1,2)

Amen
