Pray-Along. The End.

Thanks for joining me in prayer today. There is power in agreement so I believe some amazing things were accomplished today.

Some final thoughts from Max Lucado:

God is in he business of changing the face of the world.
Let me be clear. This change is HIS job, not ours. Our goal is not to make our faces radiant. Our goal is n ot to conjure up some fake, frozen expression. Our goal is simply to stand before God with a prepared and willing heart and then let God do his work.

And He does. He wipes away tears. He mops away perspiration,. He softens our furrowed brows. He touches our cheeks. He changes our faces as we worship...

And lastly-
God has proven Himself as a faithful father. Now it falls to us to be trusting children. Let God give you what your family doesn't. Let Him fill the void others have left. Rely on Him for your affirmation and encouragement. Look at Paul's words: "you are God's child, and God will give you he blessing He promised, because you are His child.: (Gal 4:7)

Having your family's approval is desirable but not necessary for happiness and not always possible. Jesus did not let the difficult dynamic of His family overshadow His call from God. And because He didn't, His family chapter has a happy ending...
He gave them space, time and grace. And because He did, they changed ... One brother became an apostle and others became missionaries.

Space. Time. Grace.

If you have a child who has walked away from their faith, here is an article that explains how to practically give them Space. And Time. And Grace. It's online here.

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. He loves us.
2. Alot.
3. And He is still in the business of making miracles.

Shalom,
