Am I the Only One?

I'm probably alone in my frustrations re: red lights and government agencies INCLUDING THE POST OFFICE. Right?

Man, those hours between work and supper?
Have been wasted this week, driving back and forth in Langley and waiting in lines.

Andrea was over earlier this evening and she got an earful, so technically, I've had my rant and I should Let. It. Go. Tomorrow better be more productive is all I'm sayin.

One of the highlights of my day was to see just how those craft supplies I gave away last week brought joy to some little girls this week:

It's Virginia's birthday today, so I stopped in at her place to wish her a happy birthday just as her party was ending and it was starting to get dark.

They had completed the creative portion of the party, eaten the pizza and were all out in the back forest, playing capture the flag.

I waited for them out on the back porch, surrounded by, oh, I'd say, about 50 hundred pairs of boots. I thought I'd take a group shot of her and all her friends. (She invited all the girls in her grade 5 class at school, plus a few neighbours.) Unfortunately that didn't happen.

Instead, I got one of her and her cuddly birthday present surrounded by a few of her friends.

Happy Birthday, Virginia!

Three things I'm thankful for:
1. My house numbers are up on my house. THANK YOU ANDREW! (Andrea's awesome husband.)
2. Today is Wednesday. I love short weeks. They zip on by.
3. I'm taking a bag of clothes and another basket of household things to the thrift store tomorrow and WHAM ZAM - just like that, I got rid of 100 things this month. (Most of them are at Andrea and Janice's house, which is nice. Really nice.)

Shalom,
