We are Here. In England...

... in the cutest little town. So quaint. (Drew said I'm not allowed to use that word again.) So brick-cottagey. So much like Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Driving has become a group project.
I operate the vehicle. ( A brand new Peugot 5008 Van.)
Clint navigates.
Drew's job is to keep me in the left lane. He reminds me, often, to stay in the left lane.  Often. Like every 15 seconds. Because I need to be reminded. Jeesh.
And Max's job is to keep me closer to the right side of the left lane. He suggests, often, that I move closer to the center line. Often. Those that are sitting on the otherside of the van are ducking and leaning, convinced I'm going to sideswipe that entire side of the car.
Andrew is in the backseat too. He murmurs encouraging words.
So that's 5. Five people committed to keeping the van on the road in a forward motion.
I have never had to concentrate so fully on driving. I'm tired, y'all. I slept 4 hours on Thursday night. And last night on the plane I slept 2 hours.
Do you want to know how hard I'm concentrating? THIS hard.
So mindful am I of my responsibilities, that I forgot to bring my camera along on our drive through Leamington Spa this evening.
I know, right?
No pics of day 1 in England.
!
Three things I'm thankful for:
1. This house. These people. This trip.
2. I drive an automatic-transmissioned vehicle.
3. It's the summer.
Shalom,
